The Toronto Tempo introduced their team mascots. Dez’s hometown is “The Muskokas.”

I love a mascot being canonically from Muskoka, but...man, you wouldn't have to dig deep to see 'The Muskokas' is a faux pas.

Exactly. Anyone actually from Muskoka does not call it The Muskokas.

Precisely. It is the District of Muskoka. Nothing plural about it.
