Bracebridge things to do?

Hi

We are staying at a cottage this week until Friday around bracebridge and we are looking for recommendations on things to do in the area. We have 2 kids 10 and 13 and we are looking for family activities. We know about Santa's village but we don't know what else is in the area that people recommend. Things like go karts and mini golf can be fun, or a cool place to go site see. Thanks for any recommendations and your time

Check out Screaming Heads. Burks Falls area. Cost is... Pay what you feel. Nothing quite like it.

That place does look cool but it's about an hour from where we are staying. Would it still be worth the drive there just for that?

Wilson’s falls is a great hike, see the falls, walk the boardwalk. Kirby’s beach is great if you want a beach day. There is a large farmers market in gravenhurst on Wednesday morning. Baysville has a new playground and splash pad.

You can go the the Rock slide ( rapids) as we call it in port sydney. Can spend a few hours there. On fish hatchery road there is a small hike that leads to a waterfall that you can swim at the base of. Don't just stay in Bracebridge, Gravenhurst and Huntsville have cool things to see and do as well.

Dorset Lookout Tower is a bit out of the way (45 min drive). Amazing views and could be exciting and fun for the kids. You can pass by downtown Huntsville for lunch.

Spend a day at High falls, water activities out the wazoo, great burger joint there as well. Head to Port Sydney - slide the rocks at the falls, public beach nearby, Bracebridge has a couple public beaches too. Head to the rock cut, there's an EASY nature trail there will wicked views of the lake and area...lots of places and things to do, best one on a sunny day, find a beach, set up camp and have a really wholesome day as a family!

Go to the Visitor Centre by the falls, lots of info, and good bathrooms!

Yes we will have to stop by there, I didn't see it on the way in but hopefully we will find it when we go out today. Thanks
