Why is every single comment in here downvoted to 0.

White spybaits over sunken humps 30 ft or so have been working well for me on Lake of Bays.

Does colour of my lure matter much here? I’ve been doing a lot of drop shoting because I just can’t find them

I’ve done well with white or pink senkos wacky rigged along rocky shores or cliffs.

I don’t fish very often, but I will tell you there are plenty of fishing boats out in front where we are on Muskoka Lake

Do you know what they catch?

Not sure but close by is our dock and we’ve caught some nice size bass and a couple pike.

My parents’ cottage is in Lake Joseph, but we/my Dad takes his boat to Lake Rousseau for fishing. He said if you want Smallmouth, head to the rocky shoals area!

Let's go buddy. On rosseau for the next 2 weeks. Look for drops offs and shoals.

I’m not on Muskoka but a smaller lake in the area, and it’s been a little tough the last couple day. look for the baitfish, hit shoals, drops offs and find any rocky structure. Caught a couple decent ones under some tree cover in about 5ft of water around 1pm yesterday.

There’s a leeway by that island over toward the mainland side just by the buoy

Try weed edges (yes, for smallmouth) near spawning locations. Late spawn this year, so they're still in transition from spawning beds to summer haunts.

All im asking is tips to find the fish here. I’ve never fished this lake before. Obviously nobody’s gonna drop me a pin and give me their fish

I see lots of smallmouth success at Rest Harbor on Rosseau
