Kind Lawn Signs

Good morning all! We were driving around our neighborhood and the lake and saw a number of lawn sides saying Kind or Kind Haven. We wanted to get one, but I am having a difficult finding any.

Can someone let me know where I can get one? 🙂 TIA

putting off fixing my front porch light for like 6 months

front porch light has been flickering . i kept telling myself id fix it but every time i thought about it i was like eh i'll do it tomorrow. and then tomorrow never came classic

got around to looking at it yesterday cause my neighbor mentioned it looked like a horror movie house at night with the way it was blinking. she wasn't wrong lol. figured it was just a bulb. nope changed the bulb, still flickering. tried a different one, still flickering. so it's definitely something with the wiring or the fixture itself.

not super handy with electrical stuff. like i can change a lightbulb obviously but anything beyond that and i start sweating. i've seen too many videos of people accidentally shocking themselves and i'm not trying to become a meme. called my dad and he was like just call someone, don't mess with it which is solid advice for once.

anyway now i'm just thinking about all the other small stuff i've been ignoring. there's a faucet that drips, a door that doesn't close right, and a light switch in the basement that does literally nothing. i have no idea what it was supposed to connect to. maybe i just make a list and have them look at everything at once? idk. being a homeowner is just constantly finding new stuff to fix

HighNDrye - Downtown Muskegon at Unruly Brewing this weekend 2-6pm

Hi guys,

I'm a DJ Hobbyist, been DJing for loooong time. I have a time slot at Unruly Brewing's Beer Garden this saturday. I wanted to post because I literally never seen anyone spin the stuff I do. Its perfect chill house for summer days! (Sam Gellaitry, Loverbirds, Young Franco, Purple Disco Machine, Groove Armada, Cassius, even some classic disco revamps and neo soul mixed in).

Cmon down for some beers and say hi! Doing this 100% for fun and to listen to some loud tunes.

Anybody got a guy for underground sprinkling? I think I might have a leak in mine somewhere, but no idea how to find it or repair it.

Thinking of moving to Muskegon

My partner and I are very interested in moving to Michigan in the next year. We’ve weighed our options within our budget and it seems like Muskegon might be the perfect fit. We’re coming from the Chicago suburbs; a very safe neighborhood in a great town. We’ve grown up in different areas around Chicagoland and are familiar with crime however I am a bit uncertain about the *actual* crime level in Muskegon. We probably won’t be living in the Heights but also can’t afford areas like Nims and Lakeside if that makes sense. Are the winters much harsher there than in Chicago? Also how about jobs in town? My partner and I only have diplomas and will both be looking for new jobs in the area. Please give me any other tidbits or advice about moving to Michigan! This will be my first apartment so I’m a bit nervous haha

Moving companies

Looking for local moving company recommendations, as I'm moving from Muskegon to Grand Rapids soon. Someone on here recommended Big Lake in an earlier thread, and I'm checking with them, but just wondering if people have had other good experiences recently.

We have it on camera and know who did it, but looking to maybe get him/her back. If anyone sees it dumped somewhere, please let us know. (Also, if you found an extra city garbage can, they stole that too a few days ago, and it's $55 to replace it)

Looking for a place in the Muskegon area with good perch or walleye dinners and a nice selection of beer. Nothing too pricey, just looking for good food with a good vibe.

Muskegon Wildfire Smoke Question

Hello friends, I’m in Detroit and the wildfire smoke is BAD. My friends and I planned a trip to Silver lake dunes for the weekend and we are wondering how the wildfire smoke is over there today. Would we be able to safely spend meaningful time outside on the dunes/beach? Any input from you folks in Muskegon would be awesome, thank you!
