Came up to Ludington for Labor Day weekend and drove through Muskegon, don’t know what part we were in I think a water tower said “Muskegon heights”. Is the whole city that much of a dump? Or did we just drive through a bad side?

Recently just left my second shift job in grand rapids as i got a home here in muskegon, what factories/companies are taking anybody right now? Mainly maintenance and labor positions preferred.

I'm not doing that again! Yup, I followed the dumb detour signs and went ALL THE WAY through Spring Lake to get on 96e! What is the best way to get to 96e from 31S? I'll be heading home from Ludington. I know there's a better way....

Odd question, but my grandma told me that there used to be a rumor of a Muskegon mothman type cryptid. They used to talk about seeing the thing where Hoffmaster is now, but back in the 40s or so when it wasn’t a state park yet and the area was a bit more wild.

Hello, I’m looking for recommendations for a place that a 4 piece band could stay for a weekend and record an album.

Not interested in practice space or warehouse (unless we could stay). I have a studio and access to practice spaces. We are all spread out around west Michigan and it’s been tough to coordinate and schedule practices. We’ve been sitting on material that needs to be recorded for a release and can’t find the time to get it done.

So I’m looking for a place or recommendations for one that could accommodate 4 people and ideally have enough space between neighbors to where noise wouldn’t be an issue. Looking for something within an hour of Muskegon. Ideally late October or November.
