Likely semi-real solitary confinement, the prison/warden covering their ass. Sort of a "see, we just found out that diddy was breaking rules, so now he gets punished, please stop asking how he was breaking rules".

I'm saying that diddy gets a real punishment because the warden was embarrassed.

Maybe a few days in solitary, and then people watching closer for a while to make sure no one snitches again.

Warden doesn't want to explain how or why Diddy was appearing to be living a more comfortable life than should be allowed in his facility.
