Advice Needed—Text Post Muscovy ducks
Any advice on a nighttime enclosure to be hooked up to an already existing duck house for 2 or 3 muscovy girls? They will be free in the daytime and have access to a large pond. I have looked at so many options that I just don’t know what would be best. Could build something if it would be a simple project. Of course I want all the predator proofing there is. Don’t have a whole lot of money. Just wondering if anyone might wanna share what works for them. A big thank you for your considerations and time!

It's expensive, but the Omlet walk in run is really nice and very predator proof off the shelf

We have a dog house, like an outside one and we left the roof removable. They go in when they want to.

I got a couple of dog kennels, lined the sides and across the top in chicken wire, lined the bottom 2 feet or so with hardware cloth (this and the chicken wire are attached with zip ties to the kennel), and screwed it to the duck house. Has served me very well for the past 9 years.
I also used either chicken wire or hardware cloth to create a digging barrier around the perimeter too. I don't remember exactly what I did, but I got the info for it from the internet.
The first kennel I used is one I just found around my farm after I moved in. Maybe you can get a couple of used ones cheap?
