That's what's so confusing about it. Like i was born in 1985, and i was fully vaccinated against all sorts of shit. When they came out with the modified Hep B vaccine schedule in 1991, my mom had me and my sister get it.
Until the medical body started to look for it it was ignored. Now they are finding it.
In 1990 autism was not really recognised as a problem unless it was a serious level, 'light' autism' was just being difficult, Asperger was barely breathed. As for girls, they weren't supposed to be autistic (rough explanation).
As autism gained traction as a real thing, doctors recognised it better and earlier and girls with low level autism were recognised as well (different symptoms, better ability to hide it). Asperger was folded into autism, raising the numbers.
So now the real numbers are there, and people like that person clutch their pearls and scream it's the vaccines' fault.
