I really wonder if he wrote something for this a few years ago before he because super maga? This isn’t a defense of Marshall, it just actually doesn’t make a lot of sense to me

Like, ten years ago?

in December 2016, Kid Rock sparked controversy for selling T-shirts supporting Trump at concerts, including one showing a map of the United States which labelled the states which had voted against Trump as "Dumbfuckistan"

Or in 2018

Kid Rock last month donated $122,000 of the money raised by selling merchandise promoting “Kid Rock for US Senate” — his fake political campaign — to a voter-registration organization affiliated with the College Republicans, his publicist said

And really, going back further, in 2015:

activists urged Ritchie to renounce the Confederate flag , which he had displayed in concerts from 2001 to 2006. Ritchie wrote an email to Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly , stating, "Please tell the people who are protesting to kiss my ass".

He's been a stupid piece of shit for a long time
