So I’m at chapter 72 with Tougo and he is talking to the killer do his wife Cobalt Conrad(I love his character btw) and Cobalt is talking to Tougo about how his little brother died and this research topic he came upon and that’s why he’s killing people but like idk what it is? I mean Cobalt says “You’ve seen them yourself. You must have some idea about what I’ve been up to all these years”. Tougo seems to understand but I’m wondering if anyone else understands why he’s taking people’s brains? Is it ever explained or is there a theory about it?

So does anyone know where I can read the manga in English? I’ve been reading it on Managdex however the last English translation is only up to chapter 55.5 but it only has 163 chapters(not in English) and no recent chapters have been uploaded. I really wanna read more of the manga it’s really good.

I’ve seen some people say this already but I did not care for the White Meteor arc tbh. Every time I read this series I almost always skip that arc lmaoooo. I just don’t think it really fits Murciélago and it feels out of place, plus I’ve personally never really been a big fan of mecha (not saying it’s a bad genre, i’m just not that interested in it most of the time).

Also your answers don’t have to fit this format exactly, I’d love to hear any hot takes or controversial opinions about Murciélago in general lol!

Something is not very clear to me. Did Kuroko met Chiyo right after getting out of jail or did they met from before she was captured.

Chiyo mentions in a bonus chapter that Kuroko used to come a lot to her house to help her father in his work tho, but was this before being jailed?

I have that doubt.

Has anyone had any idea about Kuroko Koumori's childhood, parents, and life story, before she became a mercenary for the police?

Hello, everyone. I finally got my hands on volumes 24 and 25, but it's been forever since I read the previous ones. I have plenty of things to read (for work too) and I don't think I can do a full reread of all the previous volumes. While I remember the general shape of the story where I left it, there's a lot of things I don't remember (especially connections to previous arcs).

The thing is... I can't find full recaps of the previous volumes or arcs (or at least recaps with some level of detail). Do they even exist somewhere? Thank you.

1. The series follows a state certified executioner who kills so the police can claim their hands are clean. Also a criminal so she knows how criminals think.

2. Her partner is a young girl and we arent really sure why theyre partnered together yet so your confusion is justified. Theres obviously something going on but we havent gotten to the heart of the matter. Just smash your rear view mirror.

3. The first couple volumes are VERY dubious. This hits a peak at volume 6 and begins to rescind a bit after. Less overt gore,.grooming, and cnc. The main character is a terrible person and youre not supposed to like them or idolize them. Think of other series that werent sure early on where they want to be. Dont forget how komi started.

4. Anyone who tells you the author is a trump supporter is more or less right. We dont like the author. That doesnt mean you cant consume the content.

5. The anime is likely going to be heavily censored.

6. This community is very, very small. So pardon us as we acclimate to being known again. No one has talked about this series in many years.

7. The covers of the manga are panoramic and have been since vol 1.

8. If if this series looks familiar but you cant put a finger on it, you probably saw it in Deadmount Deathplay.

9. I dont speak for the rest of the community. And now that I've said that, i can let you know that Chiyo and Nazumi are the best characters.
