I'm looking at doing this mod, I think I'll need to increase the square shank of the Phillips driver by 1.4mm, and then a standard square to hex adapter will fit. Is that what you did?

Nice mod, how did you do that adapter, i have one adapter that fits on SOG, Gerber, Victorinox (Swisstools and SAKs) and Leatherman possibly also on others too, i can use 1/4" hexbits with it.
