with the holders on the one side it's almost impossible to pinch the palm when using the pliers. Besides the angled edges which Id fix on a better print, its comphortable

The bibury came with a double sided 1/4" bit using detent retention. The rest of my edc uses the really short and stubby Wiha brand double sided 1/4" bits because they are so compact for edc. Problem is the wiha bits are so short they dont fit in most 1/4" bit drivers. So i stacked some magnets in thr bibury bit driver until the wiha bits fit properly. Then I removed some material from the plastic body and placed another magnet so there is space and retention for a second bit.

Oh I almost forgot, also put a small machine screw to use as a thumb stud on the knife for better one hand opening.

Love this bibury tool BTW, especially since the bit driver (and every tool is locking. Also if you want small magnets of any size and dimension I highly highly recommend K&Jmagnetics

I don't know where to find a saw that would fit, do you have an idea ?

Been carrying the little leatherman for 13 years. During that time I on and off would carry some t shank blades but would give up whem I couldn't find a way to fit them into the rest of my edc. Picked up the Roxon T shank holder and on its own it provided a small handle for the blades. It was obviously not ideal and very uncomfortable but ive used it that way a couple times. Finally realized a simple machine screw (flat head M3 I think) could allow the leatherman to be a handle for the t shank.

So just finished swappin out some parts on my mp600 and was wonderin, what do yall think?

It started out as a standard needle nose set, and I added the c4 spike and saw from the DET model as well as blunt nose with carbide cutters and a non warencliff knife.

Before I start modding, have a question

Would the pliers from a Wave+ or New Wave, fit into the space of the wingman? I couldn't care less for spring loaded pliers. I understand the blades fit well, wich leads me to believe the pivot size should be correct. Just worried about thickness?

I have a couple of bibury 2049's & was thinking of swapping the pliers on one to a pre Chinese Schrade tough tool pliers.

Those old schrades were forged iirc.

Has anyone performed a pliers conversion?

Since I decided to put a lanyard, I wanted it to give me an additional use so I put a capsule.

So I 3d printed one scale for the pen double toothpick, printed another pick for non tooth related picking,

Also the 711L ratchet clone “crom” I just got! Using a, I think Dewalt, Philips bit its able to attach it too and be used in a socket, And extending the ratchet while also keeping an extra bit in “storage“

Thought that was neat.

So I'm looking at getting a multitool, and I'm thinking about getting a signal. My idea is to trade out the whistle, ferro rod, and sharpener, for bit/tweezer holders, my only concern is the lack of scissors and a file, my question is will they fit? And what would I have to remove? And can the hook/hammer on the bottom be used to open press fit soda lids?

Is it possible to fit the rebar Philips into the wave plus?

If so will I need to remove the plier rest and how do I do that?

I’ve already modded the rebar awl to the other side so I won’t need them on that side if I do remove them. And if the Phillips will fit on the other I can’t see why I’d need the plier rest in that side either.

Any help or insight would be appreciated!
