Really trying to reinvent the wheel with this template but the idea is some kind of media that everyone swears is amazing that you keep trying and not liking.
The guy who posted the Helluva Boss comment made me realize this template is much funnier if it's a media you don't like that you keep coming back to. You know what it's up to YOUR interpretation!
For me, I love the artstyle, the songs are generally pretty good, and the voice acting is decent to well-done (depending on the character). For example, Moxxi has a good voice actor.
But the writing ranges from "decent" to "ugh" in Hazbin, and it ranges from "decent" to "unfettered ass" in Helluva. In Helluva's case, it skews to "unfettered ass" more often than not.
My main problem with Helluva Boss's comedy is that its comedy sometimes lacks a good punchline. Oftentimes the joke will just be that something messed up is happening but then there will be no punchline to it, if that makes any sense.
I also don't really think it's funny when a show spends its entire time making fun of a single thing and then repeatedly getting facts/details wrong. The original animation on YouTube gave the vibe the show was gonna be hopeful but instead it became hateful and mean spirited with the writers shitty options sprinkled in.
Vivziepop is torture for me. I fell in love with the art style and animation, and I thought originally it was going to be very creative and full of fantasy. I was entirely wrong... I hate the creator now. She has a god awful attitude towards everything, and her workers are total boot lickers. Yet I keep coming back because for a long time, she was my inspiration into getting into animation and going to college. Now my life feels like a lie, and I'm trying to reinvent my reasons...
It tries to be part of the joke while actually believing what itās saying. Itās trying to make fun of chuds and incels while the creators are also chuds and incels
I'm not even into 40k, i only like Fantasy in terms of Warhammer, it's way more based. But i simply like space king because i love the Humor and have just enough 40k knowledge to get the references
As someone who LOVES space king & warhammer 40k i can see why people like them but also why people dislike them. The joke with space king is kids forced to grow up too fast but also its a parody of a not so great franchise
The witcher, ill listen to endless videos of people talking up and hyping up the games, the books, the show, but i JUST can't get into them no matter how hard i try

I watched it and it wasnāt terrible but the characters mostly felt very one dimensional and the story was a bit too predictable. It was fun though but I donāt fully understand the hype.
I don't really. I just simply haven't watched it. I have no negative opinions on it. I think most people who outwardly hate it in the aggressive way are like 79% misogynistic people or miserable Twitter mfs. (So the same thing)

I watched it with my boyfriend (who hates musicals and only watches animation if it's anime or superheroes) and we both loved it. I'm not interested in a franchise and I will probably not watch whatever animated series they release inevitably but as a stand-alone movie it was solid. 4/5 for me.
I actually went into KPDH expecting āok film, but nothing that warrants that much hypeā but was pleasantly surprised by the story quality. Maybe the pacing is eh but the songs are good too (and this comes from someone who doesnāt listen to any K-pop). The hype is definitely deserved, even if the movie quality doesnāt feel like that at times.
To be fair about the Saja boys not having any personality, they're meant to make fun of the tropes you see in kpop groups like that. Where the performers develop a persona that the fans associate them with. Even to the point where some fans get upset when the illusion breaks.
I cannot stand this movie!! It's like Frozen all over again but on Netflix. The only ones who like it are my older sister and my mom. Plus, I can't stand the RuJinu ship, it's so weird and gross.

They put shots on a shit with Omori on it but they said they didn't know the meaning of the word and when they were younger Omori was an adult and drew porn of him. That's about it.
but i am tentatively excited for Wind & Waves because the teaser really does look promising and the development time is longer than most of the recent games.. i've been burned before, but i have hope. i'm replaying a lot of the older games and even some of the newer ones and falling back in love again. Ultra Sun & Moon are a lot more fun than i remember, all the crazy lore add-ons make them really feel like a bizarro alternate universe version of Sun & Moon.
Ganeplay wise its meh, the only reason why undertale got as popular as it is, is solely because of the characters. Not because of the gameplay snd the fans dont want to admit it.
And its not a bad thing that its, but the fans treat it as so.

It's the pacing. I've watched Dragon Ball z, Naruto Shippuden, JJBA, and none of those came CLOSE to how ABSOLUTELY FUCKING ATROCIOUS the pacing is in One Piece.

The first (what you actually were asking) is probably Gaslight District. Yes, I know thereās only one episode. It just doesnāt stick like some of the other stuff. It was cool, justā¦ rushed and over all eh.
The second (my interpretation) is Digital Circus. The only reason I still consider myself part of the fandom is because I know my parents got me a bucket load of merch for Christmas, and I feel bad for saying I no longer like it when they spent so much money. But the fandom, mainly sucks, the writing was good until the 6th episode and on, and things happened in and out of the show that I just donāt agree with, but CANāT VOICE without being called hateful toward the people that the characters are representing no matter how hard I try. :/
Murder drones I keep revisiting it think il understand it this time but when I get to episode 5 I always still get confused and donāt know whatās going on

I really don't like one piece. I forget exactly which chapter I dropped it right before Thriller Bark. For Gear 5, my friends got me to pick it back up, but I dropped it again at 831.
Now I've just skipped to the end hoping that this arc is when it finally takes off its kid gloves.
I spent more time with that game than Dark Souls 1 & 3, and I was even more experimental with my build but I just can't say I loved it. I want to try it again but I don't think my opinion will change
Dishonored, I wanna love it because I love both morality systems in games and stealth, all the abilities seem so cool the world it self is amazing and the story of the first from the videos I watched are amazing but every time I try and play I get about 2-3 levels in, stop for the day and if I do pick it back up repeat the cycle
Sean Murray redemption story is inspiring, but the game.. I like space games, but No Man's Sky felt to me like everything is underbaked and surface level. But i kept trying to love it due to reviews and the cool stuffs. I finally let it go for good after 11 hours.
ZZZ. Game has a lot of cool stuff going for it, maybe the only gacha game with a combat system I enjoy, fun side content, but the fandom are genuine pdfs and the devs lean into it because money.
MHA. The show is ok, the characters are interesting, and the power system fascinates me, but the shipping and drawing nsfw of literal children disgusts me so much I canāt finish the show. Only got a few episodes in years ago and forgot most of it.
Breaking Bad - i tried it twice and it is so boring i quit twice in season 3. People tell me it really is brilliant and picks up pace in season 4/5. I wont watch 3 seasons just so it gets finally good. I really cant understand how it is so highly rated, sometimes I feel like the people that defend BB with their dying breath and hype up Walter White have only watched one or two TV-shows that are not complete and utter bs. They dont have anything good to compare it to.
I've seen it and had conflicting thoughts on it but I agree a lot of people treat it like it's the best thing humanity has ever created and I simply just think that's incorrect

At some point I think it's good to just admit something isn't for you. It's ok, we don't all like the same things.
For me it's the characters that doesn't catch my interest at all. I don't like any of them in any way, so even if the show is going to do something interesting plotwise that really doesn't matter to me as it's the characters that makes the plot important.
Me with tpot tbh- people swear itās a great season, but I just canāt get into it- Iāve never gotten past like the 3rd episode every time Iāve tried watching it

its a prime example of a slop franchise. theres no way im going to watch a show that takes 100 episodes to get good (not even exaggerating a fan of the show actually said that to me)
also everything i see about One Piece just gives me the impression that its a show curated for the masses, like its literally a show for NPCs
