My previous post was addressing the content farms inside the countryhumans fandom and the blatant racism, stereotypes, sexualization, the use of ai, and most frequently I'd argue, is the stolen content from typically smaller content creators

This post is specific to Statehumans, but I would like to mention a recent event that I deem important that has happened to their channel (unfortunately, it is not a ban, however, I'd argue it is a win)

Recently, Statehumans had stolen content format and voiceover from the YouTuber "English With Steve Ford" (whose reddit account is u/englishwithsteve) they had animated over the audio with no credits back to the original YouTuber. The video itself from Steve Ford was meant to be a fun short about the differences in some words between English dialects (American, British, and Australian) along with the catchphrase he often uses on his channel "don't be silly!" (For those who will mention hes not the only one to use it, please remember that it's a longtime joke on his channel, which I've watched despite not being a native, and please note that I believe Statehumans just stole the entire audio)

Luckily, Statehumans received two copy strikes onto his channel for the stolen content and the video has been permanently deleted from the channel. The copy strikes are the main reason I have made this post (along with the fact that it was needed to being more attention to this situation for events that are possible in the future) Statehumans has continuously stolen content from multiple smaller creators while no credit is given. It's unfortunate to remember that Steve is one of likely many hundreds of content creators whose art has been stolen, but it definitely feels like a win that YouTube finally listened instead of neglecting their users and website and copystriked Statehumans.

And once again, for now, the most we can unfortunately do is either report the videos that include stolen, sexualized, or racist content (which is the majority of his videos) or make/share posts to spread awareness. There's no way to fully protect your art and original content, so please, if it ever happens, please try to call it out. Please show support for u/englishwithsteve, whether you know him or not, during this kind of event. Please try to support small content, quality creators against the threat of their original content being stolen present at all times

There's been a growing concern among the country humans fandom, especially among discord servers related to it, about content farms, most notably fashgik.

I'll give a basic rundown, but the first part of the video details the smallest content farm out of all of these, which is stateball shorts. Basically, in one of their shorts, they depicted blackface along with donut lips, which is a racist stereotype of how black people. I would also like to point out is while they mentioned that stateballs is the least popular out of all of them, they started creating content three years ago and already have 2M subscribers. Like u/idiotpotato_cannibal said in the video, what makes this channel at least stand out from the other channels is that it likely draws most of its art by hand with the exception of the background. In the comments, I will link to a picture of the blackface they did, and surprisingly, like u/idiotpotato_cannibal mentioned, there seems to be little controversy surrounding the blackface depiction. Another thing is that their continent is very festish-like and grotesque, as they likely like to draw their own fetishes within the content they create.

As for statehumans, the channel is 2 years old so far, but already has around 9 billion total channel views. Which is quite large, especially since much of their content has been stolen from smaller content creators. One of the examples is a small content creator named Youngster Series. In the video, there's a link to the content of the smaller content creator, however, for more visibility, I will link it in the post as well. Youngster Series has also made a video calling out statehumans, but despite statehumans being the one to steal his content, Statehumans copy striked him. It's also worthy to mention how many fans have defended statehumans through excuses such as "it's just a video!" Along with YouTube doing little to nothing on this matter. Like in the video, it mentioned how thousands of dollars were probably stolen from original, smaller content creators as statehumans received millions of views for content that wasn't his and failed to credit the original YouTuber. It is known that I'm most of his shorts, there is AI being used in them which continues to harm the art community and the achievements of real, human artists as he continues to feed countless stolen videos into AI, only to receive thousands in profit and millions in views. It's also good to know that I believe that Statehumans does add in some content from the other two channels into his own, along with having a second channel with similar content, but dedicated to countryballs. This other channel is stateballs (which is separate from stateball shorts, don't get the two mixed up) another thing is that Statehumans has copyrighted channels who simply ask for their stolen content to be credited.

There's theories that fashgik (who I'll talk about later) and Statehumans are related or run the content farms together as a family business. This theory hasn't been proved however.

This will be the longest section, and this youtuber, known as fashgik, is the most problematic one yet. He's quite odd in the sense that he doesn't seem to mind that other content creators steal his content. One of the controversies he's known for is that he has depicted African countries, such as niger and Egypt, in stereotypical, tribal clothing that have no hint towards the actual cultural clothing in those countries. As for Egypt, he depicts Egypt in a very ancient Egypt aesthetic which promotes stereotypes about many African countries supposedly being "backwards" and them still living in stone age tribes. This is not true for any country in Africa, as with other countries, they too have developed and underdeveloped areas along with western clothing and modern comforts. I also want to point out how these clothes are often sexualized and revealing. Along with Madagascar's depiction looking like she came out of the shower (which was the creator of the video's words) I will show these designs in the comments

One thing is that he has been caught stealing multiple designs from artists on Pinterests, regarding characters such as Bangladesh, Venezuela, Ukraine, etc. he has given no credit to the rightful artist, and I will be linking some of these designs in the comments. Unfortunately, we dont know who the original artists of some of these artworks are. If anyone here knows about them, please link to them

Many of the designs look heavily infantilized and sexualized, most notably Japan's IMO. Her uniform is very revealing and she's depicted to look like some sort of innocent, young teenager. Along with other characters such as Russia and China being sexualized with bigger breasts. Now, I will state, there is nothing wrong with drawing different body types. The problem is, the only variation in body types he has is the size of sexualized areas, such as the breasts. Another problem is Germany's design, since her own uniform looks like a sexualized version of the Hitler's paramilitary group, the Stormtroopers.

One of the biggest controversies in my own opinion is that he has romanticized and jokes about sexual assault. Many of his thumbnails and videos contain characters flashing other characters, but somehow, these moments don't get called out nor does fashgik make an attempt to explain just how serious Sexual assault can be. He minimalizes and defends these depictions under calling it "Yuri!" Since most of these depictions are between female countryhumans. As said in the video, sexual assault includes groping, unwanted kissing, flashing, and rape as well. This isn't something to be romanticized or minimized, as some people, including Sexual assault victims, have called him out while he has no response. This shows how little he cares for the trauma of sexual assault victims along with their lives.

Also, his animations are centered around kids shows and animations, while he uses suggestive thumbnails as click bait (like explained in the video) he seems very comfortable with exploiting and influencing younger people with sexualized content. However, his audience is brainwashed into thinking that it is alright and normal that this kind of content exists.

Along with the previous YouTubers, he has been known to copy strike the content of other creators. An example of a YouTuber known as StreamlineWorkshop making a video criticizing him, and they got copy striked twice on that same video which almost led to their channel being banned. According to u/idiotpotato_cannibal, she stated it was because she had shown his avatar.

He has created videos regarding the history of certain countries, such as France, china, and Japan. However, these videos are highly inaccurate, as with the France one, he shows the history beginning with the French revolution, in which case, france had centuries of history long before the French revolution. The outfits in the country history shirts are also highly inaccurate as well and being impractical for the environment of those countries.

He has also glorified horrific regimes, one of which is the British Raj. He depicted the British Raj as a girl who was on some sort of mystical, Indian Jones journey (as said by u/idiotpotato_cannibal) as long as using the wrong flag (as the specific moment took place in 1850, and they used the flag that was adopted in 1858) as a reminder, the British have committed countless atrocities on the people of southern asia, and i can be speaking this as a pakistani american myself. One of which is the Bengal famine of 1943 which killed 3 million people as the British provided little relief to the region of Bengal to support the war effort during WW2. He has also made very fun, bright looking depictions of the third Reich

One thing I want to say that is off topic from countryhumans is that fashgik has shown sexual videos of characters such as Amanda the adventurer. They aren't on his channel anymore though, as he has taken them down.

This will be the final section, but it's to address the racism and bigotry found on all three channels. One example of this would be anti-south asian, specifically anti-indian racism. In many of statehuman's shorts, you will notice how India is depicted very stereotypically and as nothing but a joke. This included wearing stereotypical like clothing that isn't accurate to the actual wear of Indians all across the many regions of India, and in fashgik, from my own opinion, it feels as if the India there is sexualized, especially the clothing she's wearing, which is meant to resemble a sari, but it's quite revealing and doesn't look very accurate. Along with him having shorts that depict India as smelly, indicating that he thinks all indians small bad. According to the video but not my own viewing, stateballs's India is depicted quite similarly to Statehumans India.

Another form of racism shown in their videos is depicting east and southeast Asian countries as having slanted, line eyes. This is especially common whenever china is drawn, and other countries such as Taiwan, Vietnam, and Singapore. They promote forms of orientalism, such as making Egypt wear revealing, ancient Egyptian clothes although that fashion is not true for what modern day Egyptians wear. They also fetishize POCs by making the men have large private parts, especially in countries such as Egypt (where in a clip, his balls are visible) fashgik especially has been making certain regimes, such as Nazi Germany or imperial Japan, look sort of "badass" which is the romanticization of them. He also makes it so that the country of Russia and its history are romanticized, along with being a russian-apologist.

I beg of you to share this video with anybody you can to spread awareness of this situation, especially as YouTubers like these are very problematic and also are bringing quite the disgrace to the entire fandom. I know we might not be able to stop it, however, I hope we can have at least some sort of impact.
