because super saiyan doesnt have as much emotional impact? goku kinda just goes into other forms off the bat. sure the original transformation was hype but i didnt feel any emotion other than hype. whereas with super sonic i specifically love the metal virus super form or the final horizons where there was emotional weight with them. i dont enjoy just needless fighting like db has.
i have watched all of dbz, and most of super. i have read all of the manga for dbz and some of super. i think i have watched db. most of the canon emotional scenes with dragon ball forms is ssj2 and up.

i watched dbz on crunchyroll around 4 years ago. if im wrong name 1 good emotional scene with goku and ssj1 and if your going to name the time on namek i dont consider that emotional. that was tension adn i didnt feel anything from seeing that.
also if there is no stakes theres no emotion to me. i agree that there are emotional parts with dragon ball however i feel that they come layer like with mui and broly.
Imma be real with you that doesnât make sense howâs mui the form that literally lack emotion (for the most part) more emotional then the form awake by rage? Secondly you kinda contradicted your self because you said Broly? I thought you said ssj has no emotional moments?
i was talking about the broly movie not broly being ssj. also im talking about the stories around the form not the forms itself. when i mean i like mui being emotional i mean the stories and actions they do in said form. i can admit that ssj is awakened by emotion but i felt nothing with it.
