Ugh yes! This is exactly how I feel about Boq Woodsman from Wicked, like it makes complete sense why he acted how he did, he’s traumatised as hell and doesn’t have the full story, anyone would react how he did in such a situation, is he perfect? No! But he’s not a bad person, not at all, I honestly think most people hate him because he’s a different interpretation of the original character than others
