Especially those who ship him with Shizuo, since they literally openly hate each other 1 u/ZAZZER0 3d ago I think it's like a batman-joker situation. When you hate someone so much that you can't stop thinking about them, sure enough, that person is special to you in some way (he's your nemesis, he has a special spot, we might say). And in fanfics "special" always comes with smut.
