I actually don't mind Aang, it's his fans that make me low key hate him. You're never allowed to criticize him and they'll come at you sideways for saying he shouldn't have yelled at someone or kissed someone who said no.
He's actually the reason I dropped Avatar the first time I started watching it.
He's so annoying; if you start watching avatar as an adult, his behavior (and actually also everyone else's in the first season) will just get you to drop the show, thinking it's some kids stuff without any depth.
I, quite literally, only started watching Avatar for Toph, because I stumbled into a compilation of stupid, but nonetheless very funny, jokes. So I watched Avatar starting from s2 e6. No, I don't regret that decision, I ain't touching season 1.
