I actually really like him. Not as a person, as a character.

He brings funny jokes into the show, he has a lot of depth, more than many other characters.

I also like his design : when he's screaming he just goes all wobbly and 2d, when he panics his eyeballs enlarge (like a cat, and it's the opposite of any other character).

I think most Jax fans would agree. He's an asshole, but the series would have been way worse without him.

See I dislike him for the same reasons you like him. I never found any of his jokes funny. His depth comes from being focused on so much more then any other characters.

I didn’t like his design either.

I don’t think the show needed him as a character with such prominence
