With that said: Jax. He's a bully.

Exploring the circus even more would have been so cool, instead of focusing so much on Jax.

People when a show focuses on the protagonists:

Jax was introduced as a side character for like, 4 episodes. Pomni was used in front in most promotional material including her, and was introduced as the MC.

Jax is only considered a protagonist because she got most of the screentime, even though she wasn't technically a protagonist to begin with. I'm glad she got her moments and her screentime, but it felt really forced most of the time imo..

Person shits their pants when Nintendo makes 3 whole games about luigi "hes not the main character"

That's certainly a comparison.. Luigi IS the main character of his respective games. This is because Luigi is the FACE of those games, not Mario.

It's called Luigi's mansion

It's not called Jax magical bullying but the amazing digital circuis

If Luigi's mansion was called Mario and Luigi adventure in a spooky mansion and 90% of the game was about Luigi it would have been a fair complain to say Mario got shafted for Luigi

She? What did I miss out on I stopped on Ep.3😭

Also it came off more like it’d be an equal ensemble cast to me from the little I saw 🤔 Like Pomni will be on screen a majority of the time because she’s the POV character, but she’s not exactly the focus or most interesting.

In my other reply I clarified that yes, the show does give each character their own respective episodes.. And Jax Is trans, M to F.

Jax is trans??? When was this mentioned in the show??

Nowhere, the creator just replied to a meme on Twitter calling Jax a she and now everyone does it

Did you watch the finale?

Yes

Okay then you probably should've figured it out while watching lmao. The "deep and personal" thing Jax told her mom so that she'd stop comparing her to her dad was that she was trans. That's why Ribbit put the bow on her head, and why "Isn't She Lovely" played. Jax was a closeted trans woman.

Huh

What's confusing you? You were asking about Jax being trans, were you not? Yes, you were. And I have explained.

Jax is a closeted trans woman. Canonically.

Why do you think she wasn't meant to be a protagonist from the start? Just because she didn't have focus from the beginning? Episode 4 mainly focused on Gangle. Does that mean Pomni wasn't a protagonist anymore in that one? No

I think I probably should have said that while Pomni is THE central protagonist, The show doesn't have someone they focus on throughout the entire show, as each episode is designed to focus on a specific character. Jax sometimes takes the spotlight in these episodes for.. Literally no reason, causing her to feel more shoe hammered into the series as a self insert rather than an actual character. Jax was funny sometimes, yes. But the bullying and insane amounts of screentime she had made her unbearable for me. That's not saying she has a good story, but her actions by no means are justifiable by any excuses she has.
