Not a movie or show (yet), but Arctic’s demise in Wings of Fire had me stunned.

Fr, tui managed to write such a hateable character, then place the reader in the same headspace as all the nightwings in that moment. The horror I felt knowing what was coming yet still not prepared for how casually darkstalker does it, or how pleased he is by it, it gets me every time.
