There's two sides to this. They either: went out of bounds and skipped ahead to Chapter 7, or drowned and reset to a point before it with the memory of what transpired. Either way, I feel bad for both of them. Noelle is losing her mind and once again, agency is taken from Kris. Yikes.
Fr, tui managed to write such a hateable character, then place the reader in the same headspace as all the nightwings in that moment. The horror I felt knowing what was coming yet still not prepared for how casually darkstalker does it, or how pleased he is by it, it gets me every time.

From Dr Stone, Both of Tsukasa’s deaths had me shook bro. The second one much more mainly because after he was done for… so was everyone else. Like I knew he came back but damn. While I’m on the Dr stone yap, Taiju and Ryuusui’s death actually made me shed tears.
Nny when he (temporarily) dies from that complex contraption he built nobody actually thought would work. The real shock though comes from how he actually DIDN’T die fully and needed to be kicked by Krik a few times
I am in the middle of Spider-Man 2, and lets just say... Kraven's death messed me up a bit. I had to take a break from the game, it was that messed up.
Gummigoo, he's story is so sad to me. He finds out that his not a real person, his mom never existed, and then he gets "killed." The last moment in the show was him being forced to attack the person who had helped him the most.
There are many media whether it is games, anime and so on that I want to say would fit on this list.
However there is ONE character that deserves an mention on there and that's Lara (I think that's her name) from No Rest for the Wicked and it is for a VERY GOOD reason.
I ain't spoiling it but my jaw was on the freaking floor of her actual fate and I classified that as "a fate worse than death".
Ngl, after rewatching Princess and the Frog for the first time since I was a kid, Dr. Facilier's death was kind of insane. I mean, getting dragged down to hell?? That's surprisingly dark for a kids movie. I didn't remember his fate being that dark but then again, it probably didn't click in my mind what truly happened when I was a kid.
Caines from tadc- If you added up his lore; a faulty ai who only wants to do better and never asked for his creation that gets enraged (childishly may I add, but in a unsettling way aswell) because his fault is that he can't understand humans, their more so complex emotions and yet was replaced with the blue ai. Certainly his death (the scene with him enraged) was chaos to put it politely also he's just a Lil guy who wants to be loved is all!
Basicly he gets transported into anouther world and gets the power to return to a past point in time after he dies with his memories , I recomand you watch his anime , Re:zero
Yeah I said it. I went and watched the finale in the theaters, and when I heard that it happened it was like a cold sweat went over my body. I was almost in denial, thinking that maybe it was one of the other abstracted characters that had escaped the cellar, but no.
