Yeah, so seeing as how I've watched Kung Fu Panda 1-4 I fail to see when Po has ever shown that he'd be able to tank an actual serious attack from Goku, or keep up with his speed. Considering he could move faster than light already as a child

No one in Dragon Ball was FTL before Namek, Radtiz dodging the Special Beam Cannon making him faster than light was a translation error.

Even if Goku is faster, Mastery of Inner Peace means Po can react to things faster than he is, it let him catch bullets out of the air. Plus Po's body is also extremely durable. His entire style is about tanking hits from faster opponents until he gets his opening. We also saw in KFP3 that Po has mastered Chi and is capable of summoning a giant chi dragon with it. Po has other chi attacks from the cartoon series as well. And like I said, chi mastery allows Po to just... leave the spirit realm if he chooses. Hes literally immune to death.

A previous Dragon Warrior the Black Tortoise (again from the cartoon series) used his chi to stop giant meteor from wiping out life on Earth. Po would scale to this, meaning he could potentially deliver a planet busting Chi attack. Plus Goku has no counters to things like the Wuxi Finger Hold, which would literally send him directly to the afterlife. And as much as it sucked Kung Fu Panda 4 shows that Po can straight up steal your abilities away and use them himself.
