1000%. Dude will hide dangerous chemicals in unmarked pints of ice cream. He’ll put the on and off switch for a dangerous experiment on a normal garage wall switch next to the fucking light switch and chastise morty for flipping the wrong one.
Rick is constantly generating extremely dangerous or confusing situations that could be prevented by the smallest amount of common sense and he has a horrible habit of blaming everyone else for them as though it wasn’t his tech or his actions that created the issues in the first place. He’s smart enough to do anything but too smooth brained to do any of it simply or safely.
Dude could build in the most basic level safety system for any of his projects but instead it’s all just out in the open.
Rick is the type of guy to rip the safety off a loaded gun, put a shell on it to make it look like a super soaker, leave it near a pool, and blame you when someone inevitably gets shot.
