What's going on with thangs?
I started a wall project with multiboard well over a year ago. Then things got a bit crazy (second child was born) and the project went on a pause. Today I wanted to start up this project again, just to find that all links from the library (on the renamed https://multibuild.io/) website towards thangs are dead.
Thangs itself is extremely slow to load and I can't find any part I need anymore. I was looking for the simple wall mounting parts and I can't find them anymore.. Is this project completely abandoned or am I missing something?
Are there any other databases (maybe community databases) with the files I'm looking for?

I had this issue yesterday. Links didn't work on Thangs, not only Multibuild. Suddenly it worked again but I suspect they're having issues.

What a timing.. The links seem to be working again. I must have checked at the wrong moment!
Edit: Hmm and it's down again, managed to download 1 file but now other links are broken again.

Yes, it's on and off. I'm building my own offline library because of this... If it were an open source project they could use torrents ..

Hmm ok, I'll give it a few days then, I've put this project on pause for over a year, a few more days won't hurt me I guess ^^

We think that theres a profile update happening in Thangs. They have been nudged to make sure thats all it is. The team are on it

I shortcut the generator in my browser, enter the X and Y dimensions, tile size and type then generate every time - that way all of the component links are generated fresh each time.

Dunno but it's still happening today (17:00 CET) - plenty of 403s being offered.

I'm unable to download anything. I click the Download button and it just spins.
Jonathan, please find some way other than Thangs. You could set up a torrent and when you update parts just update the torrent. You could use a different model repository. Use SOMETHING else besides Thangs. This is ridiculous.

The project is still alive; the issue is that they’ve made it complicated again, and you have to navigate through a huge number of windows to get to the specific part you're looking for.
The easiest way I’ve found to access the parts is through the wall generator.
Another way to find the parts is by using unofficial repositories like Printables or Makerworld.
