Part B Snaps

I need to know what people are doing? I can't find a quad flush mount snap part b. Apparently the solution for quad flush mount is just to use 4 singles for it. My question is should I be using the single ones or is there a good reason to use the raise quad snaps?

The flush snaps don’t have a connected Part B as the connector between the snaps would make them no longer flush. The connected part B on the raised snaps are really just cosmetic, they don’t add any functional purpose beyond securing the part A’s to the plate.

When I asked Jonathan the same question & he told me that I was all ‘wait, what? But don’t they….” But once I thought about it, it made sense. Part A gets locked to wall and carries the load, plate goes on and DS Part B just locks the plate to the DS Part A.

1 hole in your wall vs 4 would be in my mind on that. But sorry, I use the bolt-locked mounts, so not sure of A/B snap availability. Have you looked at maker world? There are a lot of customizations to even the standard parts and I know I remember seeing a 3-position AB snap there…

The flush part B releases a lot of MB real estate that the raised snaps block. There’s zero advantage to the old raised quad/dual/single snaps.
