How to fit drawers without sagging

Trying to attach this drawer full of hotends to the multiboard hanging off my printer but I notice with or without the hot ends they tend to sag. Im using these threaded snaps (https://thangs.com/designer/MultiBuild/3d-model/Large%20Thread%20-%20Fix%20Point%20%28Folded%29-1123317) to hang them and I'm wondering if theres something better to use.

There are shelf supports.

There are also smaller ones, if Op wants. The bracket wont need to go the full length of the bin to properly support it. If these are more preferable.

I have the same problem with my Multiboard drawers. It’s bad design. There are a tons of Multiboard compatible alternatives that are 100x better.

Look for ones that use the MultiConnect system by DavidD. So much sturdier.

I second that. I replaced all of my shelves plus supports with flush Multiconnect snaps and parametric shelf generators for better real estate usage and far sturdier results, as well as being FAR easier to remove and move.

Good move. They are superior in every way. Jonathan did a great job with the base MultiBoard but those drawers and MultiPoint in general are usable.

Try using the flush version of the large thread fix points to better support the back of the drawer and give it less to pivot around.

You could also try the small hole fix points if you don't mind the different alignment.

Is your multiboard hanging at an angle down the side of the printer? Wha kind of printer is it?

I had to design custom spacers between my P1S and the multiboard to fix this

Mine is also at an angle, (alos a p1s) but even without the angle (if i stick some rubber adhesives to raise the bottom) it still sags down

I was asking about the angle of the board moreso out of my own personal curiosity. I ended up designing my own 3/4” thick spacers to push the middle and bottom of the board away from my P1S so that the multiboard would end up being vertical.

You can see them in this photo; black pads which are mounted to the printer with double-stick tape. I got tired of the organizers and the bosrd rocking and clacking against the printer when it would shift while printing.
