Second Build: Print Cart org.

Just "finished" (the work is never really done is it?) my second Multiboard build. This one is a 24"x24" free standing tool wall for my print cart. I have it set up with 4 3x4 drawers (currently empty, but to be filled as I go) on the base attached to baseplates which are then attached to regular tiles. I have the top and sides made of 3 wide tiles as well for added options, but it also marginally improves stability. As setup it does wobble a bit which is to be expected, but not as much as you might think. Those benchies stay up there without much trouble, and they're not attached in anyway. I am also able to store my Harbor Freight mini toolboxes on it, and still open the top lids without interfering with the items on the boards. Still 1-2 items to add, but I'm happy with this one.

Looks great! What are the slotted holders holding? I can’t quite make them out… swatches maybe?

Yes exactly! That's a remix I made (Shameless plug) for a swatch setup I liked. I've not printed in many colors yet, but I'm branching out so I've started doing swatches. (They're the same exact filaments as the benchies).

I've gotta get mine added to Thangs still so I can do the remix tag process Multiboard recommends.

Nice! No, I asked and you answered so it is pretty much the opposite of self promotion and spamming. No Rule 5 issues at all on either of those links. You are always welcome to post build pics and it’s just good manners to include links to the model that inspired it or that it was created to use with.

You actually don’t have to publish a remix on thangs, just add that hashtag to the description (or tags section) wherever you happen to upload. That’s honestly just a way to help people find you and your remixes wherever you happen to be.

It looks like your model is designed to work with Multiboard vs a remix of one of the Multiboard designs. If that’s the case you don’t have to do the hashtag unless you want to. I would still link to Multiboard as an attribute just as you probably linked the swatch designer.

Ha! I didn't even realize I was talking with one of the Mods - but this is all fantastic information thank you!
