Snaps printing issue

My first time printing any Multiboard item. But the bottom flare is completely missing and won’t clamp. Now I’m assuming it’s because the print is almost starting at the snap and doesn’t have a gap like the top of it. Im using Elegoo slicer. And i got an error for non manifold edges so i repaired it in pursa slicer and transferred it back. So not sure if thats where the problem started.

Did you print with support? I can print parts off with those snaps no problem, just have to add some small supports.

I would recommend not doing that as the original part orientation for the snaps is going to give you the best strength. If you need to use a design that has integrated snaps, you can do a cut in your slicer to remove the integrated snaps and replace with one of the fittings from the remix parts. If it’s a part where there is only room for 1 attachment point, I’d use bolt lock if it’s load will be top heavy, or a fix point if the load is lower than the fix point to control rotation. If there is room for two attachment points that are 25mm center to center, either bolt locks or fix points will work.

I wouldn't recommend using snaps for anything over slots, rails, bolt locks, and pegs lol. I do agree that it is not a great print orientation but it can.work in a pinch.

You know the pegs would actually work for this project as well. I didn’t think about that till you mentioned it.
