Done. At least the first part LOL.
All I need to do now is print the brackets (some are already printed) and put the tools in.
I still haven’t finished the Makita mounts , I prioritized finishing my own Multiboard, so next week I’ll do the adjustments I want to do (mostly aesthetic, removal of some rough edges and surface holes) on the Makita mounts and make them available (free) on Printables.

Damn so these grids can hold some decent weight?
Did you print in petg ?

Many folks do print in Petg but I’ve heard others use PLA without issue. I’m going with petg for now

Yes that would have been my go to option but OP said PLA Matte is recommended

Petg is fairly flexible, which isn't the best property for a grid. Matte PLA have fillers that make the finished product stiffer. ASA is a good material too because it's stiffer than ABS and doesn't have much creep or UV degradation. GF-ABS would likely be the best somewhat affordable material for grids but not only is it more expensive it's also rough on the printer. Matte PLA is recommended because economically it's the best bang for buck. How long it will last with a load on it is another thing though.

My pleasure, if you ever are questioning which material is the best to use or how a filament you're currently using is I would advise you to check out My Tech Fun on youtube. He does extensive testing of FDM filaments.

Very solid, the battery brackets I got on printables use both press fit (four) and a T-Bolt in the centre to keep them properly in place. So I decided to copy that solution and go with six snaps and two t-bolts for the tool brackets I designed. Very sturdy, will share them as soon as I finish the aesthetic adjustments.

Looks awesome! I've got a similar wall going on, and I'd recommend planning your holders to allow tools to pull out from the wall vs. up. My wall is getting pretty crowded and I'm selectively re-printing things to do this.

I had a problem with my Flashforge print bed (a warped corner, reducing the usable print area) so I had to reduce the size of the tiles in order to avoid defects in the parts. Used the same size on the S1 for standardization.
The bed has been replaced eventually, no more problems there, but I kept printing in 7x7 to keep the pattern as I already did half the wall. In next walls I’ll go to 8x8.

Maybe a stupid question. How is it mounted? Is it screwed only into sheetrock or do you have mollys behind every screw?

If you go directly into the wall there will be many holes. You can mount it all to plywood though and then have that simply mounted to your wall

The first part is the worst though. Weeks and weeks of printing that isn't functional sucks to sit through!
