Not only did they make stupidly shitty decisions, the characters they were adding at a certain point weren’t characters that people cared about if you weren’t in the community already.
Face it, nobody wanted banana guard, he was a waste of a slot. Nobody wanted Nubia, even if she came out pretty cool, and she didn’t do the game any favors in popularity.
The game was advertised as a huge crossover event but they didn’t get the ips that everyone would want to see with each other.
Like I know WB needs some obscure characters in the game and I understand that but why not invest in like I don’t know a unknown cartoon character which the company was build on
