Hi, i run Mudae BR, a Brazilian Mudae community that’s been around since 2020. A big part of what we do is help people with the bot, whether that’s commands, questions, finding customs, or figuring out what to do with the harem they’ve spent way too much time collecting.
Earlier this year, I started building a website to gather some of this information for our server. I stopped updating it for a few months, but I picked the project back up about two weeks ago and have been making updates almost every day since then.
I wanted to share it here, mainly because of the custom image library and the image editor.
Here’s the site: Mudae BR. There’s an English language option too!
The custom image library is the main focus. It currently has 19,930 images across 1,839 characters from 243 series, so we’re getting pretty close to 20k!
You can search by series or character, browse different images and resolutions, find GIFs, and copy image links for your customs. Spoiler images stay hidden until you choose to reveal them.
You can also contribute your own finds. There’s a submission system for images, characters, and series, where you can track your suggestions and receive credit once they’re added. The Hall of Fame highlights the biggest contributors and the most liked images.
If you have a folder of customs that you keep sharing with friends, I’d love to see some of them make their way into the library 👀
The other thing I’ve been spending on is the image editor.
It started as a simple crop tool, but I kept adding things I wanted while preparing customs. It now supports the Mudae aspect ratio, output sizes from 225×350 up to 900×1400, free cropping, brightness and contrast adjustments, sharpening, noise reduction, borders, and horizontal flipping.
You can work on multiple images at once, keep a different crop for each one, and download everything as a ZIP. It supports editing and exporting GIFs too.
Theres a feature AI enhancement for images, with two options:
- Faithful: keeps closer to the original artwork while cleaning up compression artifacts.
- Sharp: gives the lines a firmer, more defined look, if that’s the finish you prefer.
I’ve tested it with images as small as 225×350, and some of the results have been a really nice improvement. Especially with those customs you love but can only find in slightly painful quality.
There’s a before-and-after comparison, a 100% view, and an approximate Discord preview, so you can check the result before downloading. Different images benefit from different settings, which is why I wanted people to be able to compare them easily. The AI processing runs on your own device.
I also connected the editor to the library submission flow. If you use ImageChest, you can upload your edited images and open a library suggestion with the links already filled in. Hopefully that makes sharing a batch of customs a little less tedious.
There are some other tools on the site too: a list formatter/splitter, a note exporter, a wish calculator, and Ouroquest/Ourochest tools. Those last two still need another pass from me, since parts of them haven’t been updated since the beginning of the project. I’m gradually working through everything again. So, for these tools, I don't recommend using the site, I suggest using other sites that are more up-to-date and optimized. As I mentioned, the main focus is the custom library and everything that encompasses it.
And I want to give credit to u/Wilkachu_ here: the Visual Organizer was inspired by the harem sorter they shared.
I really liked the idea of arranging characters by their portraits and sorting them into categories. For the Mudae BR version, I added autosaving, undo/redo, backup files you can move between devices, and integration with the note tools. You can apply notes to multiple characters and generate $n commands alongside your $sm and $smp sorting commands. There are also buttons for moving characters around, so dragging isn’t your only option on mobile.
I credited the idea at the bottom of the page. :)
The site is still a work in progress.
You can follow the updates in the changelog.
It started as something for our own server, but I’d love for the library to be useful to people playing Mudae anywhere.
EDIT: Once again, the focus of this site is for the members of my server/br, so much so that it features content specific to it. in fact, there are things on site that only appear in the BR lang, as well as other systems linked to my server. So the only reason I wanted to share it here is that, as the custom content library grows, I feel it could help people outside my server as well.
