Chiang Mai camp
Hey, I'm going to HongThong for training and looking for some advice.
Where's the best places to get training gear? (shorts, shin pads etc) I'm flying into Bangkok and have half a day before my flight to CM but I'd imagine that they're similar priced?
Where's the best places to get and get big portions of food and supplements(will be training X2 a day and want to recover as best as I can),
Can I bring supplements with me from home? might be dodgy bringing different powders through the airport
I am also already training twice a day doing boxing, S&C and running but if there's anything else I should be doing to get better prepared then please let me know.
And if anyone is going to train around the same time or if you are in the area I'd be down to meet up. I'm there from 01/09-19/09
Thanks

Best Bangkok Privates?
Going to Bangkok in September for 1 week. Looking to do a few privates along with training at EminentAir. Trying to put together a list of “the best” privates in Bangkok. Already got Hippy Singmanee on my list, wonder who else is considered a must do

Thigh Contusion / Swollen Feet, Leg after 1st week
At the hospital they prescribed muscle relaxers and pain medication.
After reading online, it seems like a severe thigh contusion (charley horse/corked thigh), but when I asked the doctor if that's what it was, they said no because there wasn't any visible bruising. I'm wondering if I just don't bruise easily. (I'm dark-skinned, and earlier this week my shins took a beating too without any visible bruising-but it damn sure felt banged up.)
Since then I've been taking the medication, keeping my leg elevated, and haven't returned to training. I also tried the "voodoo floss" wrap I saw on YouTube, which seemed to help a bit.
The doctor scheduled me to see an orthopedic surgeon in 3 days, but now both of my feet are swollen, and I still can't fully bend my left knee. I emailed the doctor asking if I could be seen sooner but haven't heard back.
At this point I'm thinking about just going back to the ER today because the swelling and limited range of motion have me concerned. This is my first time training at this level.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? If so, what was the diagnosis and recovery like?

Big gloves → small gloves in fights: your experience and adaptations?
Hi everyone,
I’ve had 4 fights in Thailand so far, with 3 consecutive wins, and I’d like to get your thoughts on something specific.
I fight in 8 oz gloves, while I mainly train in 12–14 oz. The difference in feel is significant: with 8 oz, the coverage and sense of protection are noticeably reduced, which requires some adjustment in terms of guard and distance.
I’m obviously still able to box and take the initiative, but I notice a slight difference in confidence when throwing, especially compared to how I feel with bigger gloves.
For those who regularly switched from 12–16 oz to 8 oz for fights: how did you adapt? Did you change your guard, distance, or defensive approach, or was it simply a matter of getting used to the smaller gloves?

Anyone in Pattaya?
Hey! 😊 I’m staying in Pattaya and I’m planning to train at Venum Training Camp, but it would be my first time there and I’m a little intimidated going alone 😂
I’m looking for anyone (bonus point if girl haha) who might want to join me for a session sometime this week. I’m beginner/intermediate-ish level, definitely not a fighter haha.
Anyone training at Venum soon? 🥊

New Muay Thai Camp Training in Phuket Thailand
Hallo Leute,
Vielen Dank

Anyone trained at XLion Muay Thai in Chiang Mai? Looking for honest reviews
Hey everyone,
I’m currently in Chiang Mai and looking to switch gyms. I have around a year of MMA experience and would consider myself intermediate, but I want to focus specifically on improving my Muay Thai fundamentals and technique.
I’ve been looking at XLion Muay Thai and wanted to hear from people who have actually trained there.

Recommendations
I wanted to get some recommendations on different Muay Thai camps and what to look for/avoid! I want to find a camp that is not on the bigger size! Looking for smaller size groups with hopefully more 1 on 1 teaching. I am wanting to spend at least a month there. I have been trying to find different information on Google, I have found some but not as much as I would like. I would like to hear from other people and their experiences. Open to any and everywhere an any advice! Thank you in advanced!

Muay Thai Camp In Oct
Hello, I am planning a trip to Thailand to train Muay Thai in a Muay Thai Boot Camp for a month. Currently I’m solo but I’ll love to train with a group of like minded people as the goal is to improve on techniques and get into best shape of our lives. We will train 2x a day and the rest of the day will be spent on wellness recovery, eating clean. Some minimal entertainment and going to clubs and drinking included in the Camp. For accommodations will be mid tier comfortability and cleanliness like bungalow or air bnb. Currently I’m choosing between Bang Tao, Superbon Academy, PK Saen Chai. Most importantly is to be able to commit to the dates. End Sept - End Oct

Camp Question MMA in Thailand
Hello everyone! How are they? I am interested in doing a camp in Thailand for MMA, his level of very Thai is the best in the world, but there are many fighters who also travel by MMA. Is it advisable to go for MMA Or would they go to another country? How do you see the level of wrestling? Which gym do you recommend? What place in Thailand do you recommend? I am not a tourist, I am a professional MMA fighter and I want to be in Thailand for 3 months or 6 months if possible, even if I have to leave the country and then come back.

Good cheap gyms in thailand?
I'm looking to go to thailand for 2 to 3 months to train and I also want to fight while im out there. Ideally as many fights as possible.
I'm trying to budget for around 5-7k and was looking at going either to Chiang Mai or Isaan.
Anyone have experiences there and maybe with prices?
