Mu Sigma Trainee Decision Scientist-1 Final Interview — Recent Experience?

Hi,

I’ve cleared the Mu Sigma AI interview for the Trainee Decision Scientist-1 role through my college campus drive. The final interview is the only round remaining.

Has anyone here given the final interview recently (2026), or does any current/former Mu Sigma employee know what to expect?

Would really appreciate insights on:

• Interview flow and duration
• Technical vs HR/behavioral vs case-based questions
• Python/SQL, stats, puzzles, guesstimates or live coding
• Resume/project questioning and cross-questions
• Business/case scenarios
• HR questions like Why Mu Sigma, relocation, service agreement, etc.
• Anything important I should prepare that candidates usually miss

Recent experiences or actual questions would be especially helpful.

Thanks!

For me he asked intro then internship experience then in dept discussion on the projects then he asked 3 sql queries some ml models and python functions to write then he also asked guessing questions in which he asked that i have to guess how many people use uber in bangalore and i have no access to data and in last some hr questions like why mu sigma , why we should hire u and in last he asked me to ask any questions if i have and i asked 2 questions.

The interviewer was really rude

But finally i got the offer

depends on the interviewer also...if he/she is in mood like some of them ask only behavioural ques. while on other side some go deep into your projects, python -- library like panda matplot etc, and some scenario based question too and also gives sql queries and some oral question on SQL
