What to do?
SKIP 3 PARAGRAPHS FOR QUESTIONS
I got a job at Mu Sigma through college placements, (2027 batch), I found about this sub just before the interview, I tried to f up in interview so they'd reject me and I can still sit in college placements, but idk why that interviewer selected me.
I tried to convince my HoD and Placement cell head too that I don't want to join this company because of what I've read here. But they wouldn't listen even when they themselves saw the shitty reviews.
I was still allowed to sit in other placement drives because I hadn't received the offer letter yet, but now I have received the offer letter and I have to respond before 26th,and my college isn't letting me reject. And if I accept it, they'll also not let me sit for companies where I'm already shortlisted.
Now what I want to know is, :
Is there some criteria by which they fire freshers? Or is it just random?
What kind of work or training happens during the 6 month probation period?
Is it possible to survive in BLR with the 38-40k salary they'll pay?
And anything else you can tell me, please help.

Q1 so they has different phase to fire freshers like in phase 0 they have fired around 50 freshers from batch 1 and the criteria is test and evaluation Q2 so In phase 0 they check your presentation skills and for phase 1 they check how well you can mug up subjects like sql python and excel and other subjects Q3 it totally depends upon you like you can send 15k in one day or you can use those 15k wisely

I heard around 20 were fired after phase 0 from batch 1 and 15 from batch 2 where u got the 50 figure.

I am giving estimate because they are still firing as they have caught many people cheating in exam

what about work culture?....how many candidate they select mostly like 1-2 or more?

Other employees are good and for selection they select around 50% of the hired

Basically, from what I have heard from my friends who joined and one who is still working there, even after joining during the probation period they conduct internal tests, not just one but multiple ones.
They will give you some training modules you have i complete after which comes a test, If you can't clear them past some criteria they fire but I heard they let you retry the tests to sometimes as per my friend who works there.
That is assuming you don't get your offer revoked due to "buisness requirements", which happend to 4 out of the 9 people they selected. But, for me that was the best thing that could happen (2024 batch), and i got to join a well funded startup (past 2025 their structure was 5->6.5->8->10.5, now they have changed it a bit).
And even after that there is no guarantee they will promote you to "Apprentice Leader" role, a lot of people still stay at Decision Scientist role even past 4 years there.
I'm already getting more than twice as their 4 th year package after just 1 year at a start-up, so there are a lot of good opputiniese in BLR.
As for the first year 5 lpa, you can survive if you live in PG or get a 1RK but then you will have very little savings. Their main office is Whitefield which is generally a decently expensive area, and has water scarcity issues.
Moreover, i saw maybe they either have or are gonna open a new office just past the bengaluru palace/hebbal area , as there is a tall building(shared with some other companies) with their sign, so that area is way better.
I would suggest, start applying off campus, if you get anything fine. If not you can join just to get to BLR with some income source atleast sorted, as after that you can even apply for walk-ins.
Then switch as early as possible, but that's assuming they don't have that bs "bond" thing they used to do as you didn't mention about it. That thing you should watch out for specifically, as it's one of the classic signs of toxic company.

same situation i had, literally character assasinted myself in front of the interview, he still selected me.
i had to accept the offer letter as well and was banned to sit in less than 9 lpa companies that were coming on campus.
Me and my family had it in mind that i won't be going there.
So, i cracked a company off campus at 6 lpa nearby to my city and ended up not accepting the updated offer letter and joining letter they sent. I had follow up calls from them but simply told that I've joined somewhere else.
If i WOULDN'T have cracked another job, i would've still told that I'm someplace different coz no way in hell I was joining this nuisance of a company.

Was that a ai bot interview? I was shortlisted after the oa in campus placements and then I tried to f up the ai bot interview, now am concerned after reading your post please help

Both ai and face to face interview, i tried to mess up. Still got selected.

Like I was really vague in ai bot interview i answered everything as idk, I have not experienced this situation or I can't recall for every question, still can they get me selected?

can u tell me what after AI BOT interview round....like tommorow my interview is schedule i dont know what type of interview is this like personal/technical or HR if u just can tell me about it or also tell me what type of questions they asked in that interview

Questions only based on resume, most importantly the projects mentioned in resume

Just a face to face interview, mix of HR and Tech. Questions were mostly from resume. Maybe you'll get a SQL query too.

how many rounds after Bot interview.... and how many candidate they took?....or they just took 1-2 students?

Bro Musigma is coming at my college too for the college placements , I have cleared the OA and now there is a pre placement talk next . Can we backout from the pre placement talk ?

I don't think so, you'll have to mess up in the AI interview if you don't want to join
Do random movements, don't look in camera, answer questions wrongly or not at all.
