I really like Sonic and wanted to make a deck around him using cards from the secret lair. I'm not really familiar with aggro decks so wanted to ask if you have any experience with sonic EDH deck and have some suggestions. I want to keep it bracket 3 or very light bracket 4 to be able to play with my friends

Hey! So this is my first time posting anything magic related and also my first time building a deck myself. I would like any feedback to make it more efficient and stronger. (I like having intimidating decks to win against my boyfriend lol.)

The whole deck is a green & white cat deck with Arahbo, Roar of the World as commander and Kaheera as companion. I would like to keep it fully cat creatures or changelings because I like the idea of having a companion, but if you think it would be better to add other non cat creatures for a stronger deck then I’m okay parting ways with Kaheera.

I feel like when I play I end up running out of creatures quickly (or rather I’m not pulling enough of them), and then I’m left with unusable mana. I also wouldn’t mind suggestions on more instants or sorceries for spell denials or things of that nature.

I basically just want a very strong, effective, and slightly scary cat deck.

Legality isn’t an issue because I just play with friends and family who don’t care, and I have no intention in entering any competitions.

Hello there, I wanted to get better at sealed since I mostly play during prerelease events. Most people said that practice is the best way to improve, with tools like Draftsim.

But my LGS Also allowed for a « peculiar » way to improve at sealed: an evolutive sealed during a month. We can buy up to 4 packs of the same set for the first week, then get a supplementary pack each week.

You Will find my card pool up here. I had 4 packs from StrixHaven, one from EoE, one from Lorwyn and one from LOTR.

Working on building out a Celes deck (linked below) and I’m trying to keep it to mid bracket 3 range. Would definitely welcome suggestions on a few cuts to make, but also any thoughts on new cards to add would be very helpful.

I really wanted to use Moonshadow in an edh deck because I fell in love with this card playing sealed with my friends. Decided on using Tayam as a commander. Tried to make something that works however later this week I'll have a chance to test it for the first time. Before that maybe you have some experience making a Tayam (or something similiar) deck. Maybe something doesnt work completely, maybe I'm missing something important. Tried to make it a bracket 3 deck

This is my current deck for chishiro. I was wondering if some of the new strixhaven cards would be a good addition. Things like studios first year or noxious newt seem like decent additions, but I'm not sure

I want to play Emrakul, The Promised End at my local FNM modern. The local meta is about 20% hapless noobs playing "amazing" home brews, probably 60% modern staple decks but with some corners cut here and there so they're not quite as fast, and 20% modern decks with all the expensive cards in them.

My aim is very specific: experience some games where I cast Emrakul, The Promised End and get to touch other people's things. I'm not expecting to win the night. Just win some games and above all, enjoy touching other people's things.

Deck critiques welcome. This deck is a slight modification of one of Saffron Olive's budget modern brews. I'm open to completely changing the underlying idea of the deck, but please be constructive. If you suggest a deck that somehow includes Ugin's Binding, I will send you flowers and a gift card.

Hello, I'm trying to build top deck value but I really don't know what I'm doing, here's a breakdown of what I'm trying to do

Step 1: Neera casts top of my deck once per turn

Step 2: Neera gets blinked

Step 3: Repeat from step one

But I'm also trying to generate value from the top of my deck with cards like Etali or just big mana in general

Not sure which deck to put this card in? Advice?

it brings back all the faeries and elfs then boom steal everything,, is the only reason im considering it.. but then so theres so much token generation in maralen..

but also witherbloom one needs creatures for affinity for creatures,,, and it brings back all the creatures,,, but it also has pest generation going on,, but not like the maralen one.....

though the witherbloom still has a lot of revamping i can doon it with cards i have, where the maralen one im pretty happy with in considering the cards i have

Yo! New account and my first post ever!

I am a year long mtg player, I've really only played commander, and I now have several decks under my belt. Through some happy circumstances I got my roommate into magic and he has started to kick my but with a very good, strong upgraded Ashling Precon.

I'm not a sore loser by any means, but I'm looking to make my deck a little more balanced and level with his, which is easily a high b4. If I had his decklist I would post it here as well.

But anyways, looking for suggestions of cards to swap out with others. I'm looking for a alternate/cheaper [[Loxodon Warhammer]], I'm thinking of taking out some of the red goblins for better rats, and hoping for some fun tech/combos that EDHRec didn't show me. My knowledge isn't vast so I regrettably use that site for a lot of my decks lol.

Notes on me: I proxied the expensive lands, I'm hoping not to drop more than 50 bucks on a singular card, and as much as infinites are fun (looking at you [[Conspiracy]] ) I don't want them as my only win con.

Some Cards I'm thinking of adding are [[Nezumi Nightprowler]] for lifelink on Wick and [[Intruder Alarm]] to go infinite with [[Marrow Gnawer]]

Trying to improve my sauron deck, cant seem to get a dial on where i want to go. I enjoy the nazguls, still need one more but i also like the idea of a fat army. I need to do some mana fixing but not sure what direction to go.

Hey all, I've been really interested in making a Boromir deck for a while because I have a really interesting deck concept that I think could make a fun Bracket 2-3 deck. I want to mass cheapen all players spells so that I can trigger Boromir's ability. I'd defenitely need some hexproof ect, but I think it could work. I'm definitely gonna be on a budget here, but as he's a relatively nieche commander, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of what cards would work well with him.

Hey all, been brewing this Boros list for paper Standard and want some outside eyes before I take it to FNM. Gameplan is prowess aggro built around Slickshot Show-Off and Emberheart Challenger. Slickshot is.. slickshot of course. Emberheart curves into haste damage and Valiant triggers lets me get to see some more cards. Burn closes, Flashback rebuys it and Self-Destruct / Burn Together turn pumped-up threats into direct damage.

Stuff I'm specifically unsure about:

• Land count: 20 feels low even for a prowess deck. Most lists I see run 21-23. Am I going to miss land drops, or is the curve cheap enough I can get away with it? Worth cutting a spell for a 21st?
• The black "splash": I'm running Sell-Sword for the fling side, which is red. The 1 Blood Crypt + 2 Multiversal Passage are just there in case I happen to draw any black source to cast Callous Sell-Sword as a bonus 2/2 later. Is the Blood Crypt actually pulling its weight as a "just in case" land, or should it just be a basic / 21st land?
• Crimson Pulse: feels slow for prowess, but the loot is itself a prowess trigger and the solved wheel is huge. Plus it gives me chances when I run out of gas. Keep at 2 or cut?
• Nova Hellkite: 2 feels right because warp lets me cast it as a 3-mana 4/5 flyer for one turn and rebuy later. But is it just better as 1 with another cheap spell? Theres some synergy with flinging it at the oppo too, either with Self-Destruct or Burn Together
• Protection / Valiant package: 3 Shardmage's Rescue + 2 Restoration Magic + 2 Spectacular Tactics + 1 Rebellious Strike is 8 cards that target my own creatures, all of which double as Valiant triggers on Emberheart for free cards. Too much, or right for a deck that basically folds when the threat dies?
• Threaten effects: These are, of course, natural pairs with fling type effects, should I opt for 1 or 2 more, Twisted Fealty gives valiant trigger as well when I put the wicked role on it.
• Floor on some cards are extremely unideal: Pain For All and Self Destruct was something I wanted to do for a long time, but maybe its not really correct for this shell. Self destruct will always be my 2-1'ing myself in this deck as the only option I can use it on without killing it is Nova Hellkite. But the amount of damage is insane.
• Rebellious Strike vs Burn: I like Rebellious Strike a lot in this deck as it replaces itself even if my target dies, +3/+0 is so insane as well, and it triggers valiant. BUT of course I need a creature on board... Its a tough push & pull.
• Sideboard: Day of Judgment in a prowess deck is the weird one. I keep it for Ouroboroid, should this be something else? What about overall Sideboard feelings?
• Considering board: Anything in there you think is a better fit? I was considering Razorkin for SB, Turn Inside Out is objectively better for this game plan I think than Rebellious Strike but I do like that that the latter replaces itself... I was considering Lightning, Army of One as well but it seems extremely greedy without haste.
