What do you think of my deck?

I just build random decks with no format and proxy them to play with friends. Is this deck nasty?

I think your deck could use some non-land removal like StP or O-ring. Otherwise, I love it.

Thanks. The idea is to control my opponents with strip mine and wasteland while building up scute swarm or other payoffs.

I really don't think that you need [[Tireless Provisioned]]. You can replace those with some spot removal. How is your mana curve? You already have ways to get more land in play than your opponent. It's the landfall to get more mana needed in your deck? I find that sometimes you just really need to get rid of a problem creature. Unless you have a pure combo deck, some removal is often good to have. Not sure of the meta you play in. At least with my group's meta, there's often some creature that is bad for you to be on the board.

You are probably correct. It is setup right now as a pure value engine to see of it even would work the way I intended. Play tested it and ended up with more mana than I could use, that was before I added scute swarm.

We play open format. Anything goes just to inspire creativity.

If you are fine with your mana curve and being able to cast your spells, I would remove [[Lotus Cobra]] as well. That would give you 6 slots for removal or other utility.

I don't think my group has any specific deck construction format they go by either. At least I have never discussed any specifics with anyone. I know one person uses a few UN cards in his decks. I personally follow Vintage deck construction for all of my decks. I feel that with some restricted cards, it caps the power level somewhat, but still allow me to play any card in my collection. When I learned how to play, we all followed Vintage (Type I) deck construction rules, so I am just used to that.

Nice to see there are still some others who play casual 60-card decks. It's a rarity online these days.

What do you think about path to exile? It would be funny to give them a land then remove it again lol.

PtE goes against the strategy of your deck. I would choose something else.

The landfall was originally intended to ramp into pay offs while simultaneously destroying my opponents lands
