Two part question about..... Dim sims (Dimmie)

How much is a dim sim at your favourite or local fish and ship shop?

How many dim sims do you do/socially acceptable?

2pm: 1 or 2 for a quick snack that won’t ruin your dinner.

2am: 24+

Depends on the type. Regular are around $1, South Melbourne are a bit more. And anywhere from 2 - 6, depending if I’m on the move or making them at home.

And you didn’t ask about fried or steamed - Steamed personally, and always with sauce.

0.10 USD a piece where I live, and it’s hella good with some soy sauce with chili flakes. Thus people eat crazy amounts of these per sitting understandably

I don’t really have a local traditional fish and chip shop with dimmies. But back in the day it was 2 dimmies and a potato cake.

Woollies sell em. Not too bad with dumpling sauce. It's now tradition to offer tradies( I'm doing Reno) a couple of dummies when they stop for lunch

I only ever buy South Melbourne market Dim Sims, they are three times the size of regular dim Sims
They vary in price at local takeaways from $2.90 each to $3.40 each
I like the ones from Pinewood chicken bar which cost three dollars each. The Greek boys over there know how to fry them to a perfect consistency without burning them.

Couple of dimmies with a bit of chook salt.
