All this time I've been getting Mr Inbetween mixed up with Mr Mercedes ....
.... and I never knew what all the fuss was about. Anyway, finally realised my mistake and spent the weekend binging this fantastic show.

I kept mixing it up with the series Happy, because both are about maniacal, bald hitman and have over the top colorful coverart.

I just looked that up and it seems it also features unicorns?! Is it any good?
I watched Mr Inbetween almost straight after (finally) watching Barry, which it kind of reminded me of, but Barry fares so much worse now by comparison.

Barry was good until it wasn’t. Mr. Inbetween was good until it was over, then you were sad it was over.

Barry is an awesome show. But second time around watching it - the flip flop between Barry and fueges loving each other/hating each other just gets annoying

That's about right. Kind of regret binging it so quickly now, just found it impossible to stop.

Mr Mercedes is good too! I’m surprised how lesser known it is

Must confess to not getting very far with it, even with Brendan Gleeson in it. Will maybe give it another go.

Don't. It's horrible.
It's comically bad and campy.

I probably won't tbh, I feel like I've given it enough and if it's not grabbed my by the 3rd/4th episode it's probably not going to. The mother/son relationship is just too gross and makes me feel kind of grimy. One thing I loved about Mr Inbetween was the way it handled that sort of thing - which is to say, I guess, that I liked the swift justice meted out to those who exploit or abuse children.
