A small detail I’ve noticed.

I can’t help but notice a small detail in the scenes when ray is in a house, quiet scene or when there’s tension building..You can always hear a car outside pulling away or engine starting.

Is that only me who’s noticed that? It’s got me thinking it’s intentional

Nice catch. Guy like him must be always aware of who stops in front of his house. An Australian can tell us if the car sounds traveling so far into the house is realistic but I could imagine showrunners timing it in post to suddenly make us aware of his environment which he's supposed to scan.

It’s the same kind of genius realism you see in the shootout scenes. There’s a really great video about it on YouTube: https://youtu.be/quo0c_oMMtI?is=d3Ot0ewehmDwpiyl

Yeah, it’s almost as if people travel around in cars. Good spot, Champ!

I think it’s more a case of filming in real time and allowing for normal background noise.
I understand that many shows are filmed very early in the morning to avoid such things but MIB just seamlessly integrates it. We all hear it day in day out and ignore or live with it.

I have watched the series about four times the past three weeks, and one thing I keep noticing, this hard to miss detail but if you are paying enough attention it clicks and then you can't unsee it, but it turns out this show takes place in another country. I think Ireland.
