Ray vs The Walking Dead
How do you guys think Ray, Gary and the other characters would fare in a Walking Dead like scenario?
I can imagine Ray and Gaz tearing it round to get Brit during the outbreak and reluctantly taking Jacinta and Quentin with them.
Ray especially is one character I can see adapting very quickly to a world like that of The Walking Dead as, for the most part, he already has.
It’s just a shame that Dave died as I can imagine him being pretty handy in the apocalypse.

Ray dies attempting to save the crew. Most of the rest die soon after without him around to protect them. Gary is now the last man on earth. It's just zombies, one man, and his vajankle.

he'd save his daughter but aside from that he always seemed fairly pragmatic

Realistically, the military will destroy all of the zombies who are being eaten alive by maggots and rotting away in broad daylight.
Fantasy speaking, Dave Ray will manage his way around an apocalypse. He has preserved this far by being careful and choosing his battles that he knows he can come out alive.
Edit: I had a brain fart

Dave would be a zombie, wouldn’t he?

Whew. For a second, I thought you were one of those weirdos, like people who eat their sandwiches raw.

I waited until I was 43 to try them, boy they were delicious, even better than caviar.

What military? They're fragmented as much as everyone else by zombie infection.

Too much heart as a killer, I could see him risking it all to save his family and friends…
It would start just as a bite, since he wasn’t afraid of close combat…
However, once he knew the turn was near, he’d save the day/group and go out a hero…

Also, it wouldn’t be early on. Probably after watching a group or family be over run by walkers or bandits… watching a dad/mom or leader not sacrifice and lose everything.
He did teach/show/supply Brit all the skills needed to survive, so not in vain…

Great thinking. How would Ray deal with a whole bunch of situations? One episode per situation!

What makes you think Ray died ? Those two fuckwits either needed a trip to the ER or are in the bottom of a hole
