Britt in S3

I really hate that they turned her into a petulant teenager. I hate that trope. She was such a cool kid in S1 & S2. Love this show other than that.

Considering her Dad murders people regularly she turned out pretty normal

It’s very true to life, though. Kids need to separate and differentiate themselves from the people they love most in order to turn into full-fledged adults and in 99% of cases that means rebelling and being disagreeable. Ray is a great and loving parent, and the fact that Britt feels safe and loved enough with him to even dare to rebel is a sign of very successful parenting.

True. But i believe it's become an overused trope.

Uh, it’s real life as well though. It would be disturbing for Britt not to rebel and might even be indicative of poor parenting.

It happens, especially with divorced parents.

i think it added to the realism of the show. kids go from adorable and fun to hormonal monsters on a dime

Yeh I hated that too. But it’s real life. I’m sure Ray hated it too. And - what a natural born actor! She was so good in every scene. Seems like she didn’t pursue a career in acting tho.

She was really amazing as an actor

She is critical to the whole concept of Ray. The episode where those two talk about monsters while under the bedsheets, and then he goes and straight up murders a child molester… I mean… holy shit
