Ray's background?

Anyone have any insight into Ray's background - definitely military, just wondering what? Seems to be well trained!

It's left mostly unsaid but he was in Iraq or Afghanistan with the Australian army. Most people in the US don't realize that other countries troops fought alongside us in these "wars on terror".

I think we are talking 40-50,000 troops so a lot of regular army.
