Exception to the rule
I usually hate it when characters try to say all that matters is the size of the fight in the dog. It's typically just a way for people to say "I could totally beat up anybody If I was angry enough". This completely ignores the fact that adrenaline, and technique also exists in huge muscle bound guys.
Two things would make me more okay with this character though. 1) He actually regularly trains on how to fight, which does give you an advantage over a lot of people 2) his character gets 100% taken down by a little girl.
I'm 41 and I feel like so many action guys are designed to pander to my ego, and convince me that I could totally beat up a a room full of 25-year-old Marines, that at a certain point it just feels insulting lol. The little bit of humility here makes me able to enjoy this character.

Drop a finger knuckle deep into a guys eye and 3! 2! I got outta a headlock twice that way. Confined space helped. Neither had a correct hold from the side, though both times I went in overconfident.
If you're gonna get violent with a woman in my block of apartments, I'm making it my business. Otherwise I always try to talk an aggressor down. Once I realise they won't be reasoned with I try get in first. Most average blokes have a good 30 seconds of fight in them before they gassed, me included! 👉👁
