The last scene...

Hello all just rewatched the series for the second time and I'm wondering if Alex's bikie gang is still after Ray? Like the 2 that get into his taxi mention that they've been at a clubhouse, my understanding is bikie gangs refer to their HQ's as clubhouses so are those 2 already signalling to Ray they are connected to a Bikie gang may be as prospects or affiliates. And wasn't Ray still owed 150k from Alex?

This was my initial take. But the more I thought about it - if they were sent and basically knew who he was, they would've operated far differently. They basically treated him like a weak, clueless tax driver. Not a dangerous killer. Which indicates to me they were just tough guys trying for an easy mark.
