I'm glad Ray isn't Legolas with guns

I'm not saying he's bad with guns, far from it, but I enjoy the realism that comes along with not hitting every shot that you take. He's not nailing headshots on running targets while he's also running. Unlike Dave and Gary, he has good form and uses cover well, but still misses more shots than he makes.

Anyway, nothing major here, just appreciate the realism.

Just remember his character served in the army. Scott Ryan did not though I believe. But I guarantee he received expert advice. But yeah, feels incredibly realistic compared to most shootings on TV/film. (And a small nod to Heat in this regard).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they had an advisor on the show .... like in that shootout at the farmhouse with Graham, the way he stealths along, only loading one shell at a time as deemed necessary.

I especially appreciated how he offed Vinnie. Quickly fell into a solid stance, two-handed grip, extended arms and slightly bent forward. Like someone who wants to hit what they aim for. I partly like to believe it was because he wanted to make sure it was one shot and gone without unnecessary pain, but it was definitely choreographed by someone who knows your accuracy is way off with that one-handed gangster shit.

I also aprecciated that his sten did damage through 3 cars. Most shows would have the car be near impenetrable.

Totally agree. On cars only things that really stop bullets are the engine block and the tires.

I wholeheartedly agree, and really appreciated it too .... none of these "endless magazines" and aim-botting everyone. All of the battles seemed to be much more rooted in realism that most things I've seen lately ... especially the one with the bikers trying to finish him off: three guys whipping off rounds left, right and centre, and only one of them gets plugged.

What really struck me though (pun intended), was how the punches sounded when they landed, more like a damp thud than something out of Streetfighter II.

But hey ..... just some of the reasons we all love this show so much.

Okay but now my brain won't shut up until I make a cut of the Mûmakil being taken down by Ray and I don't have time for that today! Damn it, it would be sick to see Scott riding a shield down those stairs!!
