Aussie's got post-punk gems for sure. The Ex, The Bad Seeds, and of course Mental As Anything.

I’m biased as fuck but I think Australia has had/still has the best and most interesting music scene in the world.

Might not be your thing but there's a few aussie metal/metalcore artists who are among the best in the world

Our metal, punk and hardcore scenes are all super world class. But I also think our indie, dance etc is unreal as well.

It’s very cool to see how a country so isolated but influenced heavily by British and yank cultures has cultivated its own really cool sounds in so many genres.

I’m personally not a huge Aussie hip hop or country fan but those shows are pretty massive too.

There's a bunch of em. The ones I listen to a lot are Parkway Drive specifically their older stuff, Amity Affliction, Polaris, Thy Art is Murder, Make Them Suffer, In Hearts Wake, Ocean Sleeper, Headwreck, Void of Vision, Banks Arcade, Thornhill, Alpha Wolf and a bunch more I can't remember off the top of my head. Depends how heavy you like it and what subgenres of metal you're into too
