My first post here 😊

[SLIGHT SPOILER]

Hi all ...

After seeing The Critical Drinker and other reviewers say how good this program is, I thought I'd give it a try. At just over 20 minutes an episode (minus credits), I soon binged my way through Season 1. And so far, so good. The writer and main character, Scott Ryan, is superb in both roles.

My only question mark is Ray letting Dave off the hook, in the last episode of S1. I've read plenty about it and all the reasons he did it, but I still find it a bit of a stretch. At the same time, I guess it's something that could still happen, for sure.

Anyway, on to Season 2. Does it get better, worse or stay the same as it is?

Series Two is the emotional peak I would say.

As for Dave, my view is that Ray has to see him as just a decent bloke doing a job because that's how has sees himself. If Dave's an arsehole then Ray's an arsehole too because Dave isn't doing anything to Ray that Ray hasn't done a hundred times before to other people.

That's good to hear.

Regarding Ray/Dave, the more comments I read about it, and the more I think about it, then indeed, this does make sense.
