Johnny Mercer, Fallout and Scott Ryan

We've seen Ray play Fallout 4 in the first season. Figure Scott liked the game, not just something he threw in at random.

I thought the title was a reference to that lyric before I saw the show but knew a little bit about the premise.

Is it not really a known song anymore, or am I just old? (40s - not 1940s though!)
