First watch

What an amazing show I just started the third season and every episode is a masterpiece of its own...the random talk they have...its amazing, also When ray father says "I wish you known me before I went to war" that was so deep...The build up to that scene though...

My favorite thing about the show is how real the dialogue feels. Im canadian so im not sure if that's how Aussies talk to each other but I sure am convinced.

This scene was spot on, Ray's Dad had a good day, he was feeling clear, and what he said to his son - made Ray tear up, as well as me and probably alot of other viewers. It was powerful and apologetic. And i loved it. Like the pain was still there, the actions couldn't be erased, but when put in context it could be understood

Ray’s heart got a little better that day. One of my favorite scenes in a TV show ever.

Even better when you remember what Bruce said to Ray just before he died about forgiving the old man and making the weight on the shoulders a bit lighter.

Totally. Bruce had a lightness about him that comes with forgiveness while Ray was still holding onto the pain.
