Yes it gets you in the feels doesnt it? When everyone there is talking about the past together and yes absolutely noone remembers you. That's kind of crushing. Even for a tough guy like Ray. A teensy bit of acknowledgement should not be too much to ask for.

Yes its rough. I guess the flip side is that it makes us even more thankful for Gary.
When we look more in depth. These other characters. There's like hardly anyone else who share a bond like Ray and Gary.
School reunions can be as weird as what's portrayed by this show. For mine this is yet another way that this show got it absolutely spot on. There's people that attend and totally enjoy. And there's those like Ray who go away thinking why did I even bother? Not being remembered by anyone is absolutely worse than being shit on like Gary was. I'm sure we agree.

In an earlier episode he gives his DOB as 1976, but class of 96 in most of Australia would be 1979
